A Winter Wedding
When Anne and I first talked on the phone I knew I wanted to be a part of this wedding! A Christmas winter wedding with the beautiful holiday decorations, snuggly fur wraps, silk scarves and elegant formal event but full of music and laughter. Done.
I love every one of the locations they chose as the back drop for their day. The Magnolia hotel sparkled and laughter and friendly ease filled the presidential suite as the women got ready. I always love an opportunity to shoot in Chesters where I took the two of them for a quick drink and some fun photos together.
Sacred Heart Church was on fire with the Freedom Choir. I just love to see the guests light up when this choir erupts into song at weddings. Talk about joy filled wedding ceremony.
Anne and her family embraced the Christmas holiday with all their decorations at the Field Club reception. Nutcrackers, winter branches, an Christmas tree ice sculpture, pine, candles and twinkle lights to give a great sparkle to every inch.
Irish wedding traditions were a big part of the night with special toasts, a traditional Irish beverage that appeared quite strong (mild understatement) and a beautiful music performance.
Then the over the top live music with Rock and Roll Suicide meant not one guest could keep from at least tapping a foot and most were on the dance floor all night. I don’t know if I have ever seen more dancing!
Congratulations to Anne + Steve
