For Kayla there was a moment of heart ache before great joy was found. Yes, unexpected & on the dance floor she met Matt. By the end of the night they both knew this was something different…something extremely special! We had a wonderful time capturing their pure joy & excitement of being engaged! From the perfect snuggles followed by some popcorn fun & a yummy cupcake treat. This has to be one of the sweetest Omaha engagement photo sessions! We had so much fun celebrating a love oh so sweet!
Since we know that many of you couples planning your wedding are always on the look out for inspiring tips & tricks to help make the wedding planning fun & easy we ask, now happily married & expecting soon to be mommy, Kayla to share some of her tips on this topic!
Hi Jess, Tin Box, & all you lovely wedding planning couples!
Here are some of my personal tips for the engagement time frame of your relationship! This is a fun, exciting, and yes at times stressful part of your adventure together, but so worth it! Make sure you have fun and continue to remember how you got to this point in the first place. There was something special that grew into something amazing and will continue even after you are married! So here we go!
1. I LOVE Pinterest, so it was fun putting a board together that had some inspiration of other engagement sessions. This helped us share with our photographers, Tin Box, what we were dreaming and hoping we could capture but still make our very own.
2. I LOVE details, so I wanted to bring things that were important to us, like our family quilt. Tinbox was also amazing at thinking of things that were important to our story. Matt proposed in front of the cupcake shop– but for the shoot, our photographers took us in and snapped some great photos with delicious cupcakes! We also had a blast taking photos at the bar we met.
3. We LOVE happiness, to laugh and have fun! Tinbox captured our relationship in all our favorite spots. Matt also loved all the games and cues the photographers used. It made us comfortable and the photos captured us naturally being happy. It was wonderful getting to know our photographers more. By the time our wedding day was here it wasn’t a stranger coming in to capture the day it was people who we knew and were more like our dear friends!
Happy to help! – Kayla
